Life choices and motivation. This is a topic I’ve been thinking about for quite a while. I usually try to keep personal stuff away from my posts and content, I know that’s not why people come to these channels. Since November we’ve had a project at my day job that is still ongoing, and has required countless evenings and weekends — time away from family, the outdoors, and these channels as well. However, even though I haven’t had time for content creation as much as I usually like to spend, I still find myself going through old footage, photos, because I find it so motivating and therapeutic. Even on my craziest work weeks where I know I won’t be able to put something out, these channels always help. And I have to admit, I didn’t expect to enjoy the podcast medium as much as I have so far — being able to squeeze a short recording at any point during the day and getting those thoughts out the door has been great. So, to conclude, this big work project should be wrapping up in the next week or two, and I’m hopeful to get back to my long, overdue queue of videos and content that have been moving so slowly for what feels like ages. And, the latest podcast is about how even at times away from the outdoors, these channels and outdoor communities continue to be so inspiring and helpful in getting through tough times. So thank you all. Cheers! – Luke#paddlingmixtape #optoutside #justaddwater #podcast #mypaddlestory #adventureproof
